 Shetland Womens fc are pleased to announce the launch of our official website. Over the coming months this site will feature news, match reports, information about all the womens football teams playing in the Shetland league and cup competitions, as well as regular updates on the County teams.
We hope you will take a few moments to register an account on this site, membership of the website is free, is open to anyone regardless of whether you play football or not, and allows you to take part in the discussion forum, use the shoutbox and the many other features that will be added soon.
If you're having problems getting registered or would like some more information about womens football in Shetland, then send an email to the websites admin who will deal with your enquiry.

| Intercounty 2009 |
 It's nearly that time of year again! The Intercounty games will be held at Clickimin South this year on Saturday 22nd August, with the 'B' game kicking off at 12:30 and the 'A' game at 3pm.
Training is starting Wednesday 1st July from 7 - 9pm at Clickimin South and a good attendance is requested.

| Gramsbergen 2009 |
Shetland have returned from the Gramsbergen football tournament in the Netherlands, finishing a credible 14th out of 20 in the 'B' team competition.
Noteable achievements being that Shetland were the only team that the Tournament winners (Dutch side Bruchterveld) couldn't score against and winning the Fair Play Trophy.

| Shetland Girls Under 16's |
| Shetland have been invited to send a Girls Under 16's team (girls born on or after 1st January 1993) to the Orkney Football Festival on 1st and 2nd August 2009. We have an initial training session at Brae Astro Turf pitch on Saturday 21st March from 11am - 1pm, further sessions will be arranged after the holidays. All under 16 girls are welcome to come along, these sessions are free all equipment will be supplied and all you need to bring is your own personal playing equipment. These sessions will be led by SWFC Development Coach John Ward |

| Scottish Cup Draw |
Shetland have been drawn against Dunfermline Athletic in the first round of the Scottish Cup. It's looking like the game will take place on Saturday 22nd November, with the team travelling down on the friday night boat and coming back on Sunday.

Outdoor training for those potentially involved in the Scottish Cup/Island Games squad is taking place at the Clickimin Rugby Park on Sundays from 1pm - 2:30pm and will be led by Derrick Bradley.
Everyone who is involved in the above squads is to make every effort to attend. |

The 2008 AGM is being held in Islesburgh house Room 9 on Thursday 13th November at 6:30pm. Items for the agenda should be emailed to the Secretary by 10th November.
