Shetland Women's FC

Shetland Women’s Football Club was formed in 2004 with the purpose of entering a team in the 2005 NatWest Island Games, since then the club have provided regular training and playing opportunities for Women and Girls throughout the Islands but we reralise that we need younger players coming into the game to sustain Women’s football in Shetland.

We were awarded a grant from Awards for All Scotland to get girls football established in Shetland and we run regular training sessions and practice matches for the girls.  We are always on the look out for new players, so if you fancy having a go at football then please get in touch.
